What It Is
NS-02 is a minimalist ceramide lipid concentrate designed to replenish the structural lipids of the skin barrier.
The formula is built around the ceramide delivery system Ceraskin O, supplying skin-identical ceramide molecules in a lipid carrier that helps restore the intercellular lipid matrix of the epidermis. By replenishing structural barrier lipids directly, NS-02 supports hydration retention, resilience, and improved tolerance to active skincare ingredients.
Why It Matters
Ceramides represent roughly 40–50% of the lipid matrix of the stratum corneum. Loss of ceramides occurs through ageing, environmental stress, inflammation, and barrier disruption.
This depletion contributes to:

Ceramide NP is one of the key structural lipids of the epidermis. It integrates into the lipid matrix of the stratum corneum and supports the formation of lamellar lipid structures that maintain barrier integrity.

When exposed to moisture on the skin, ceramides organise into lamellar bilayers that help restore the lipid structure responsible for maintaining hydration and barrier resilience.
